SRINAGAR: Dukhtaran-e-Millat has expressed anger over the delay in the bail plea of its incarcerated chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi, general secretary Nahida Nasreen, press secretary Sofi Fehmeeda and other two party members.
DeM spokesperson Rifat Fatima said the bail of party leadership is being deliberately delayed. She said the incarcerated leaders have been detained in Central Jail Srinagar “which is no less Guantanamo Bay”.
“The bail could have been handed over on the very next day of their arrest but it was deliberately delayed,” she said, adding that the health condition of Aasiya Andrabi is deteriorating and she is not even being provided medicines.
The spokesperson requested the people of Kashmir to remember the incarcerated chairperson in their prayers.
