Urdu translation of Assrar-ul-Abrar released

Srinagar: Jammu And Kashmir Academy of Art Cultural and Languages (JKAACL) on Saturdayreleased Urdu translation of classic mysticism Assrar-ul-Abrar.
A special function was organized in the seminar hall of the Academy which was presided over by noted Scholar Moulana Showkat Hussain Keng.
Assrar-ul-Abrar has been originally written in 17th century AD by Sheikh-ul-Islam Allama Sheikh Baba Davood Mushkawati, which has been translated in various languages, world over. It has been included in the syllabus of various Universities.
Dr Aziz Hajini secretary JKAACL described the book as pioneering one which has been read in various countries for centuries together. “Today we are fortunate enough to release this Urdu version of Assar-ul Abraar,” Hajini said.
Various scholars including Molana Mohammad Tahir Bukhari, Prof Rasheed Nazki worked hard to render it into Urdu.
Two papers were read out on various aspects on the occasion by Dr Syed Majeed Andrabi and Ghulam Rasool Shola.
People from different sections of the society were present on the occasion, prominent among them include Prof Nasir Mirza, Gh Rasool Azad, Ayash Aarif, Phonsug Ladakhi, Shakeel Qalandar,Tariq Ali Mir, Mushtaq Ahmad Tantray, Shabnam Tilgami,Nazeer Josh, Dr Shahnawaz Khatana,Dr Syed Iftikhar, Mufti Shafeeq ur Rehman, Ab Salam Kousari, Anwar Lolabi and Jameel Ansari.
