Shopian: After a fortnight of shutdowns, normal life resumed in Shopian on Saturday.
Customers thronged the markets and student attended schools after a long gap in most areas of the district.
The consecutive shut downs in the district has heavily affected the education section and business class this year.
The area saw shutdown against civilian and militant killings for
15 days with two brief breaks for markets. The district has seen shutdowns for 51 days since January 24.
Mobile internet still remains suspended in the district while as broadband services were restored.
