Baramulla: A screening camp under Rashtriya Bal Suraksha Karyakaram (RBSK) initiative was held in Nambla village of border town Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
The camp was inaugurated by Sub District Magistrate (SDM) Uri Bashir ul Haq Choudary in presence of CMO Baramulla Dr Bashir Ahmed Chalkoo and BMO Uri Dr Mohammad Ramzan.
Special teams of doctors from District Hospital Baramulla and sub-district Hospital Uri attended the camp and screened patients for specified diseases.
Large number of children in age group of 0-18 years were screened under the programme. The pamphlets with particulars of causes, symptoms, preventive measures and treatments of diseases were distributed among the participants.
