SRINAGAR: J&K High Court Bar Association Srinagar has rebuffed the statement of Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, and said Kashmiri people are only asking for the implementation of the Security Council Resolutions, which guarantees them the right of self-determination.
“The Bar Association wants to tell General Rawat that the Kashmir struggle for Azadi is a legitimate one and all the people believe in its righteousness all the way, implicitly and unquestionably and that miracles also happen to those, who believe in them,” Bar said in a statement.
It said the people of Kashmir are determined to take their struggle to its logical end and that one becomes successful, the moment he starts moving towards a worthwhile goal.
Meanwhile, a meeting of JKHCBA was held on Friday in the High Court Bar Complex, where the death of the mother of Saad Rafi Ganai, Advocate, who was ill for quite some time and died in a hospital on May 9, was condoled.
“It was prayed to Almighty Allah to rest her soul in peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss,” the statement said.
