SRINAGAR: Muslim League (ML) Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday termed the killing of Tamil Nadu tourist at Narbal as quite unfortunate.
A spokesperson of the League in a statement said, “Whosoever has done this are not humans and do not support humanity. Humanity is ashamed by these acts.”
He said that such unfortunate and condemnable incidents send a wrong message to the outside world. “Every single Kashmiri is grieved over the incident despite being killed and maimed by the forces,” he said.
The spokesperson said the tourists are being targeted by elements hell bent to give the ongoing freedom movement a bad name. “The words fall short to condemn this inhuman act. It is totally unacceptable to attack tourists as they are our guests,” he said.
Meanwhile, acting chairman of League, Abdul Ahad Parra condemned the alleged thrashing of civilians in Palpora Langate area. “With these tactics, forces can’t suppress our voice and movement,” the statement quoted Parra as saying.
