JKLF condemns detention of Malik, other leaders

SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has condemned the prolonged incarceration of its chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Siraj Ud din Mir, Abdul Rashid Magloo, Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya), Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Assad ullah Shah, Mushtaq Ahmad Rather and others and termed these arrests and prolonged incarceration as a clear example of “state-sponsored terrorism”.
In a statement, a JKLF spokesperson condemned the arrest spree, nocturnal raids, curfew, restrictions and other “oppressive measures” which were employed to put a curb on Monday’s JRL protest programmme.
