SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir National Front has strongly condemned the fresh killings in Shopian and Srinagar by government forces.
A National Front spokesperson in a statement said that “overall 14 deaths in two days is nothing but genocide of Kashmiris by Indian forces”. He paid tributes to the slain.
“Kashmiri people have once for all decided not to surrender before the Indian state terrorism, so killing and maiming the pro-freedom youths is only renewing our pledge to safeguard and secure the tremendous sacrifices of our brave youth who are keeping the torch of resistance burning,” the spokesperson said. “These brave hearts are the real heroes of the freedom struggle and their great sacrifices will be safeguarded at any cost.”
National Front said that Kashmiris are being killed, injured and insulted by the men in uniform. He stressed upon the international community to use its good offices and impress upon New Delhi to shun the “rigid and unprincipled” policy on Kashmir so that the longstanding dispute is resolved according to the people’s wishes.
