JRL extends shutdown to Tuesday

Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) Monday extended the shutdown call against the recent killings to Tuesday, (May 8).
JRL leaders, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik in a joint statement called upon people to continue with the protest shutdown on Tuesday.
JRL termed today’s opening of Darbar in Srinagar as “Mout Ka Darbar” (Darbar of death).
Five civilians and five militants were killed in Shopian district on Sunday.
