Srinagar: Extending full support to the “peoples agitation” led by the Hurriyat, the largest trade body on Sunday said that it was willing to sacrifice the business losses but that the atrocities, which have evolved into “worst ever humanitarian crises unleashed by the government forces” was intolerable.

In a statement, the business fraternity said that Kashmir was a dispute and needs to be resolved for sustainable peace in the subcontinent.

Muhammad Yasin Khan chairperson of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation, who also heads the Kashmir Economic Alliance, said what is more pinching that instead of feeling guilty of the atrocities the PDP-led government has pampered the trigger-friendly forces.

Referring to the recent bloodbath in Shopian, Khan said there was visible design in the pattern of killings. “This is an attempt to scare the people but let the government understand that we are a resilient nation,” Khan said.
