After Assistant Professors killing, KU suspends classwork for 2 days

Srinagar: The University of Kashmir on Sunday said that the classwork at the varsity will remain suspended on Monday and Tuesday.
The decision has been taken after one of the Assistant Professors of the Sociology Department of the varsity was killed in a gunbattle with forces earlier today.
A spokesperson of the varsity said that that the class-work at the University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on May 7/8, 2018 (Monday and Tuesday) as a precautionary measure.
Raafi had gone missing on Friday and was found trapped today in a gunbattle at Badigam village in Shopian district along with top Hizb commander Saddam Padder.
