RAMBAN: Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh on Saturday attended the Ajeevka aur Kaushal Vikas Divas Programme organised to mark the end of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan here at Sanasar.
At the outset, Jitendra dedicated to local people an ambulance sanctioned by MLA, Ramban Neelam Langeh out of his CDF for New Type PHC Sanasar and also flagged off a students’ rally taken out to attract enrolment of children in the schools.
MLA, Ramban, Neelam Langeh, DDC Ramban Tariq Hussain Ganai and officers of the district administration accompanied the minister.
Addressing a public function organized to mark the end of twenty one day Gram Swarajya Abhiyan, the minister lauded the dedication, commitment and hard work of the PM Narendra Modi in addressing the social concern of the people especially the poor. He informed that as many as 20,000 such villages were selected across the country under the Gram Swarajya Abhiyan to uplift their economy and bring a revolutionary change in the life of locals.
He further said that development is a continuous process and the effect of such major projects can be made visible in due course of time. He urged the youth to participate in building the nation stronger as youth represent the country and country always belong to young people who have right to decide everything
He expressed his satisfaction over achievement of targets in Ramban district set under the campaign.
Later, he presided District Officers’ meeting to review the implementation of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan and other state as well as centrally sponsored schemes.
