Danish Renzu gets best director award at Dada Saheb Phalkhe film festival

Srinagar: The USA based young Kashmiri film maker, Danish Renzu, who has directed award winning short film “In Search Of America Inshallah” was honoured with Dada Saheb Phalkhe film festival award for best film director.
Danish is currently working on the movie “The Illegal” set in Los Angles featuring Oscar winning movie “Life of PIE” actor Suraj Sharma.
His debut feature film “Half Widow” is likely to be released under Bollywood banner this year.
Special reports and reviews on his contribution in films have already been acknowledged by media houses through their columns published in both international and national press.
The world’s highest premier film fraternity, Dada Saheb Phalke film festival jury comprising of renowned film experts G. N. Bhardwaj, cinematographer Prashant Sehgal, Mohammad Hamdani film expert of Iran, Robin Renowned film actor, Fernando from Spain, Aayanto and other prominent art film experts approved award to Danish Renzu.
Danish’s father received award on his behalf. He said that it is proud movement of his life to receive such prestigious award on behalf of his son.
