Only student from JK to qualify the exam
SRINAGAR: Bringing laurels to its school and entire state a class VII student from SRM Welkin Higher Secondary School, Sopore has qualified the competitive National Analytical Aptitude Test (NAAT) examination.
Musaib Bashir of class VII qualified the NAAT exam conducted by National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA) 2017 in collaboration with Grey Matter India during the last week. Over 25,000 students from more than 300 schools across 14 states throughout India participated in the examination and Musaib was one among the lucky few qualifiers.
Musaib Bashir was the only student from J&K who achieved this rare feat thus bringing laurels to the school, parents and to the whole state. The student was awarded by NISA in Delhi with a cash prize and a citation on this achievement. Furthermore, SRM Welkin Educational Trust Sopore had the highest enrolment in the said examination. Vice chairperson of the school, Baseema Aijaz also received a citation of appreciation in this regard.
With a motive to keep pace with the rest of the world, SRM Welkin Higher Secondary School invigorates students to participate in different Indiawide competitive exams. “Whichever opportunity comes our way we make sure that our students avail that and participation in examination like NAAT is part of our educational activity,” said the school vice chairperson.
