10 bovines rescued in J-K’s Samba

JAMMU: A bid to smuggle bovines in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district was foiled today and 10 bovines rescued, an official said.
A police team intercepted a truck at a check-post in Tapyal area and rescued the cattle, the police said, adding that the driver of the vehicle fled the spot.
A case has been registered and investigation started to nab the accused, they said.
