Fire breaks out in MLA Shopian’s house after petrol bomb attack

Srinagar: Fire broke out in the residence of MLA Shopian, Mohammad Yousuf Bhat after protesters hurled a petrol bomb at it. Bhat’s residence is situated at Mimender area of the south Kashmir town.
It was immediately not known whether Bhat and his family members were in the house or not.
Soon after the incident police and fire services reached the spot, witnesses said.
SSP Shopian, Shalindra Mishra told Kashmir Reader “we are ascertaining the facts about the incident and it is too early to comment on it.”
Earlier in the day a school bus came under stone pelting in the town injuring at least two kids.
