Shopian shuts for third straight day against killing of a student

Shopian: Shopian district in southern part of Kashmir on Sunday shut for the third consecutive day against the killing of a college student during a shootout in Anantnag district.
All business establishments, shops and other commercial activities are closed while as schools and offices are off day due to Sunday.
Shafiq Shabir, 23, was a student of BA second year.
He was injured after militants allegedly opened fire on government forces in the district. He was admitted to a hospital where from he was shifted to Srinagar where he died.
