PHDCCI organises ‘1st States Conclave-2018’

GULMARG: PHDCCI on Saturday held its 1st PHDCCI States Conclave-2018 at Gulmarg. The first session of the conclave was held at Gulmarg Golf Club under the chairmanship of all India PHDCCI President Anil Khaitan.
The conclave is being attended by the State Chairman and Co-chairman and Expert Committee Chairman of PHD Chamber. The J&K State chapter was represented by state Chairman and Co-Chairman along with the Chairmen and Co-Chairmen of Expert Committees of Kashmir Chapter, an official statement read.
President, PHDCCI hailed Kashmir Chapter Chairman Mushtaq Chaya for hosting the 1st PHDCCI States Conclave-2018 of PHDCCI in Kashmir.
President PHD Chamber moderated the whole day session, and it was resolved that “this Conclaves will serve as a benchmark for the future state conclaves to be hosted by other States”.
Chairman Kashmir Chapter, Mushtaq Chaya said that it was important for PHD and state chapters to actively participate in tourism and its related activities and “with the support of a focused and visionary leadership of PHD Chamber, I am optimistic that all states would be able to achieve astounding success in working together under PHD Banner”. Chaya hoped the deliberations in Saturday’s conclave would be a ‘stepping stone’ in that direction.
In the first session, the states of India presented their achievements and ‘Road Map’ regarding their respective state chapters, including the Jammu chapter and Kashmir chapter. The states and expert committees presented various niche economic activities of the states. The chairmen of all the chapters assured their cooperation in promoting Kashmir tourism and assured their support in bringing tourists from their states.
Saturday’s session was open for discussion in which all the state chapter chairpersons discussed the hill states, tourism, skill, education, ICT, industrial policies, infrastructure, agri & food processing, sports, etc.
The conclave will conclude today by framing the ‘joint strategy’ among the states and line of action to be followed as per the strategy, it added.
