SRINAGAR: Coaching Association of Kashmir (CCA) on Saturday congratulated the students from the state who have qualified the prestigious IAS examination.
In a statement, the association said that as per the trend over the last few years the results this year have also been encouraging in these competitive examinations. “The continuation of IAS qualifiers from Kashmir reflects the talent of our students. Despite adverse situations our students have been able to prove their mettle,” said Chairman CCA, G N Var.
The CCA said that previously the IAS used to be a distant dream but now anybody can achieve this milestone in life. The association especially congratulated Fazlul Haseeb Peer son of noted writer, columnist, academician and director academician JKBOSE Farooq Ahmad Peer. “Farooq Peer has to his credit a lot of reforms in education sector. He has always taken a lead in showing the way,” said Var. Haseeb is currently the top ranker in IAS from Jammu and Kashmir at serial number 36 at India level.
The CCA also congratulated 14 other students especially those from Kashmir who have qualified the examination. He said given a free atmosphere the performance could be better in the future. “Despite problem during last year, our students have done well though it could have been improved. However, we hope with active contribution from all stake holders the future is bright for our students,” Var said.
