Scholars’ School, Dara organises program on ‘Importance of Moral Education’

SRINAGAR: Private School Association, J&K and Ahsaan Foundation J&K on Wednesday organised a programme on the importance of moral education here at Dara, Harwan.

Students of Scholars’ School, Dara, and Harwan participated and spoke on the importance of moral education. Stress was given on cherishing morality among the students.

President, Private School Association, G N Var; Chairman, Ahsaan Foundation, Rahi Riyaz; PRO Private School Association, B A Shah and Director, Scholars’ School, Srinagar Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather attended the programme.

G N Var and Dr Mushtaq Ahmad, both stressed on the importance of moral education in addition to the conventional education.

Among the participants, Master Aqib Hussain (10th), Master Abrar Farooq (8th) and Master Syed Burhan Andrabi (8th) were adjudged the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders, respectively, who were later presented with mementos.

With its slogan ‘We take droppers and make them toppers’, Scholars’ school is the first boarding school of the valley catering mainly to marginalised sections of the society.
