V-C JKPCC to attend 2-day economic summit

SRINAGAR: Vice-Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Company, Sheikh Khalid Jehnagir has been invited to attend 2-day Economic Summit 2018 at the Bombay Stock Exchange Hall Mumbai.

The summit is being organised by India Foundation in association with Bombay stock Exchange. It would be held on April 27 and April 28, an official handout read.

Railways Minister Piyush Goyal, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, GoI Jayant Sinha, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Assam Sarbnanda Sonowal, Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, former Finance Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Haseeb Drabu are scheduled to attend the summit. Besides top ministers and politicians summit would be attended by top business leaders from across India.

The business leaders and others who have been invited to the summit include Rajan Bharti Mittal, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Bharti Airtel, Sachin Bansal Executive Chairman Flipkart, Shamika Ravi, Member of Economic Advisory Council, Chief Executive Officer NITI Aayog, Amit Kant, Chairman 15th Finance Commission N K Singh and others, it read.
