Srinagar-Leh highway closed for fourth consecutive day

Ganderbal: The highway linking the Ladakh region with Kashmir valley remained closed for the fourth consecutive day Monday.
Officials said that the Traffic remained suspended on 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh highway for the fourth day today due to accumulation of snow and slippery conditions.
Fresh snowfall at Sonamarg, Zojila, Meenmarg and Drass, forced authorities to suspend traffic, he said, adding that traffic remained suspended as “a precautionary measure to prevent any accident”.
