SRINAGAR: GoI’s Minister for Health & Family Welfare, J P Nadda felicitated District Hospital Baramulla and CHC Sankoo, Kargil in national felicitation ceremony held at New Delhi on Thursday.
Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Saleem urRehman has appreciated the hospital administrator along with whole staff of district hospital Baramulla and CHC Sankoo, Kargil for receiving first prize under Kayakalp in District and CHC section in Jammu and Kashmir.
The award has been given in recognition of the efforts towards excellence in promoting cleanliness, hygiene and infection control in the hospital contributing to improved quality of care, an official statement issued here said.
Out of the five hospitals selected in J&K under Kayakalp, three were from Kashmir Division. Such feat has brought laurels to the health services of Kashmir Division, the statement added.
The Director while applauding the role of the health personnel of both the hospitals said, “It is a proud moment for Directorate of Health Services Kashmir. The feat has been achieved only by sheer hard work and dedication of the officers/officials of both the hospitals.”
