Bandipora:NationalConference’s (NC) Bandipora Wing Thursday demanded capital punishment for the culprits of eight-year-old Kathua girl.
The protesting workers carrying placards and banners shouted slogans in favour of the girl’s justice. They appealed people not to politicise the issue and demanded impartial investigation into the incident which has shaken the world. The protesting workers demanded death sentence to the accused.
The protest rally was led by senior NC leader and former legislature Bandipora, GhulamRasool Mir Naz.
Naz said that “it took three months for the President and Prime Minister of Indian to speak about the heinous crime which shook the entire world”.
He appealed to the government to deliver justice to the victim.
“No one should be allowed to politicize the issue,and instead everyone bearing political lineage should come forward first for the justice of the girl,” he said while condemning the politicisation of the rape and murder.
