Muslim League chairs executive council meet, debates ongoing situation in Kashmir

Srinagar: A central meeting of executive council of Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir was held in Srinagar on Thursday.
According to League Spokesman, in the meeting, office bearers discussed the ongoing struggle and present political situation in Kashmir.
In the meeting, he said that most leaders of League are in jails, due to that organizational programmes are not held in a proper may. Office bearers on the occasion decided to take certain steps to make the League more vibrant and active on ground.
League spokesperson in statement said that meeting of Muslim league discussed present political situation in Jammu & Kashmir and took stock of organisational affairs. Leaders deliberated that due to incarceration of most of its leaders, organisation is not able to comply with expectation of people, and members nominated Abdul Ahad Para as acting chairman to supervise organisational activities.
He said that Abdul Ahad Parra, while addressing League’s central meeting, reiterated that Kashmiri’s resolve to continue their struggle till securing their birth right to self-determination. Parra said that the people of Kashmir had rendered countless sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and the movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.
Para while speaking at the meeting highlighted background of Kashmir Issue .He said solution of Kashmir issue lies in resolution of UNO.The leader urged people to exercise perseverance for achievement of right to Self- determination.
Leadership said that sacrifices of Kashmiri won’t go in vain and movement will be taken to logical end as per wishes and aspirations of people, said the spokesperson
Para said the recent statement of Army official about dialogue can’t be taken seriously as such statement often proved hallow. Spokesperson appreciated the efforts of Pakistan in highlighting the Kashmir-Issue internationally.
