Ghulam Nabi Bulbul’s contribution to Kashmiri music hailed

Srinagar: An interaction was organized with Prolific Folk Singer and Instrumentalist Ghulam Nabi Bulbul by J&K Cultural Academy and Radio Kashmir Srinagar.
The programme was organized under the series “NAAMWAR”. Ghulam Nabi Bulbul shared his experiences with the audience and performed on Kashmiri SARANGEE here at the seminar hall of the Academy. On the occasion Dr. Aziz Hajini, Secretary JKAACL appreciated the contribution of Ghulam Nabi Bulbul in Folk singing and Cultural legacy. In his remarks, Syed Himayun Qaisar Director Radio Kashmir Srinagar described Ghulam Nabi Bulbul as a legend who has been serving Kashmiri music for decades.
A paper on the life and contribution of Ghulam Nabi Bulbul was read out by Shabir Ahmed Shabir. The audience interacted with Gh. Nabi Bulbul and enquired about his experiences in the field of performing arts, the statement said.
