SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir High court Bar Association has strongly condemned the use of “brutal” force on students protesting against the kidnapping, rape and gruesome murder of eight-year-old girl in a beastly manner.
“Bar expresses concern over the situation and the manner in which pellet guns and other toxic gases are administered indiscriminately during mob control,” a statement issued here said.
“Holding protest demonstrations against gruesome incidents of rape in Kathua demanding action against the criminals does not deserve to be crushed by use of brute police force,” Bar said. “There have been protest demonstrations all across the world including various cities like New York, Istanbul and Madina. Why people of Kashmir are being gagged and choked by use of brute police force?”
The Bar Association appealed to all people believing in justice and fair play to support the people of Kashmir to seek fair trial of the case on fast track basis so that those who have committed this heinous crime are dealt with under law.
