Srinagar: Senior PDP leader, J&K government spokesperson and Minister Naeem Akhtar on Thursday said that all the accused in Kathua rape-and-murder case are behind bars so there was no reason for the students in Kashmir to hold protests over the incident.
“What is the occasion for protests, stonepelting when case is solved, accused in jail and trial on? Shouldn’t they be attending classes instead,” Akhtar wrote in reply to a tweet.
Pertinently, protests of Students are going on in Kashmir valley against the gruesome rape and murder of an eight year old girl in Kathua.
