Srinagar: Clashes erupted between government forces and students of Govt degree college Tral on Wednesday.
Government degree college Tral students hold protests, sources said adding they were demanding justice for 8-year-old Kathua rape and murder victim.
Eyewitness told Kashmir Reader that forces resorted to heavy teargas shelling to disperse the protesting students.
According witnesses, forces personnel damaged many vehicle of the college by resorting to counter stone pelting.
Reports of clashes also came from Achabal Anantnag, area of south Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the Students of Kashmir Law College Nowshara held a protest March in Lal Chowk against rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua.
The lawyers club of Jammu and Kashmir and students of Vitasta Law College held a peaceful protest and also started a signature campaign for “justice to Kathua victim” in Partap park Srinagar.
The students of the College of Education M.A Road Srinagar also held a protest demonstration in the press enclave Srinagar.
