LEH: Eight-day Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and e-Learning Training for teachers and Masters commenced at National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) here today.
About 70 teachers and Masters of various government schools of Leh District are participating in the training organised in association with District Administration and Education Department.
JD Education Ladakh, DD NIELIT, CEO, ZEO Nubra, Staff of NIELIT were present on the occasion.
The training is meant to empower the teachers in the field of ICT as NIELIT in collaboration with J&K Government has already implemented smart classrooms in 17 schools in Leh district and 19 schools in Kargil districts in its 1st phase.
During the 8-days training programme, the teachers and Masters will be trained in using ICT tools as well as ICT equipments to be used in the schools.
