Kathua case: SP College students, Anganwari employees protest in Srinagar

Srinagar: Scores of SP College students on Tuesday held a protest march in Lal Chowk Srinagar as a mark of solidarity with the Kathua rape and murder victim.
The protesting students raised slogans against the accused and demanded stern punishment for those involved in the heinous crime.
Meanwhile the Jammu and Kashmir Helpers and Workers association also held a protest march in Srinagar and demanded the justice for the Kathua victim.
Students at Kashmir University also held protest against the Kathua incident and demanded hardest punishment to the accused.
Eight year old Kathua girl was gangraped and murdered by six persons in the month of January after they kidnapped the little girl and kept her in captivity for around week.
Later, police arrested all the accused alongwith two policemen and filed chargesheet against them.
The court trial has also been started in the case.
