Two die, five injured in road accident

Srinagar: Two persons died and five others were injured in a road accident at south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, police said.
A police spokesman said that a mini bus, bearing registration number JK03-8621, turned turtle at KB Pora in Kulgam on Sunday morning.
He said that seven persons were injured in the accident, adding, all the injured were rushed to district hospital Kulgam for treatment where two of them succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased were identified as Nazir Ahmad Magray and Musaib Manzoor Wagay.
The spokesman identified the injured as Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Qadir, Nasreena wife of Irshad Ahmad Naik, Amina Bano wife of Mohammad Maqbool Khan, Dilshada Akhtar wife of Fayaz Ahmad Reshi – all residents of Asnoor and Mohammad Maqbool Wani son of Abdul Ghaffar resident of Chekhwatoo.
He said police has registered a case in this regard.
