Shutdown, protest in Banihal, Kishtwar against civilian killings

Srinagar: Protests were held in Banihal town on Friday along the Srinagar-Jammu highway amid a complete shutdown against the killings of four civilians in Kulgam on Wednesday.
Hundreds of protesters hit the roads soon after the culmination of congregational prayers and raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
The town also observed complete protest shutdown. A complete shutdown was also observed in Kishtwar area of Chinab valley agaisnt the civilian killings in Kashmir.
The call for protest was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprised of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
