Shutdown continues in south, north Kashmir against civilian killings

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in southern and northern parts of Kashmir on Friday against the killing of four civilians in Kulgam on Wednesday.
Although no resistance leaders have called for any shutdown for today, yet shops and business establishments are closed in Kulgam, Anantnag, Shopian and Pulwama districts in south and Baramulla and Kupwara areas in north Kashmir.
Authorities have imposed restrictions in Srinagar parts to stop protests called by resistance leaders.
Four civilians, Sarjeel Ahmad Sheikh, Bilal Ahmad, Fazil Ellahi and Aijaz Ahmad Pala were killed while as around 60 civilians injured in government force’s actions in Khudwani area of Kulgam district on Wednesday.
