Srinagar: Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday strongly condemned the innocent killings in Kulgam and termed it as a “planned genocide” of Kashmiris.
EJAC, according to a statement issued to GNS, held an emergency meeting on Wednesday here in Srinagar head office, and said, “The forces are always in the mood of killing the innocent youth in order to wipe up the next generation of this unfortunate nation. Nobody is there to stop them from this bloodshed. Every day people are subjected to such barbaric incidents which leave every eye wet and every heart bleeding.”
The leaders criticised the government’s failure to stop such horrible incidents. “It seems that government has issued a license to its forces for these killings. How many fathers have to shoulder the coffins of their blooming sons,” they asked.
EJCC leaders said the mainstream political parties have failed to stop the central government for violating the human rights and innocent killings on daily basis. They impressed upon the state government to take steps to stop this bloodshed.
The amalgam reiterated its appeal to the international community and United Nations to play role in “saving the Kashmiri nation”.
