Kulgam killings: Protests erupt in NIT Srinagar

Protests erupted in the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hazratbal campus, Srinagar on Wednesday against the Kulgam civilian killings.
Reports reaching here said that scores of students from various departments marched through the campus and later assembled in the NIT lawns and shouted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans, reports said.
The protesting students later dispersed peacefully. Pertinently four civilian were killed by government forces in Kulgam during clashes. The clashes erupted after the civilians tried to disrupt the anti-militancy operation in Khudwani area of the district.
Student protests were through out the day in colleges and varsities of Kashmir against the killings.
