Kulgam gunfight: Additional force moved to site

Srinagar: Six additional coys of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) have been moved to the gunfight site where a gunfight is underway between militants and government forces at Khudwani area of Kulgam district in South Kashmir, ANI reported quoting official sources.
Two to three militants are reported to be holed up in the area.
The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police are jointly carrying out the operation.
A civilian was killed while as another sustained injuries in clashes with government forces which erupted near the gunfight site.
Local sources said that three more protesters sustained injuries in the ongoing clashes among which one has been shifted to Srinagar for specialized treatment and two are being treated at district hospital Anantnag.
