SRINAGAR: After reports of a ‘technical snag’ in the website of Board of Professional Entrance examination (BOPEE) that prevented about 100 MBBS graduates from paying the fee online while submitting their preference forms for post-graduate courses, the Board has denied any problems with its website.
The Board’s said that some candidates who failed to participate in the process within the stipulated time are using these tactics which amounts to resorting to unfair means.
The BOPEE said on Sunday that there had been no technical snag in its website for making online payment while filling preferences for NEET Postgraduate-2018 exam.
“To put the records straight, the last date for submission of preferences and making online payment was 28th March 2018 as notified by BOPEE and the date was only extended upto 31st March 2018 to give opportunity to such candidates to fill the preferences /update/make payments who could not do so within the stipulated date,” the Board said, adding that the candidates who failed to participate in the process are entirely responsible themselves.
A BOPEE official said that some candidates who failed to participate in the process within the stipulated time are using such tactics which amount to unfair means. “The Board has already notified MDS selection list on 5th April 2018 and is ready to notify the MD/MS/PG diploma lists but for a litigation that has cropped up and an LPA pending before the High Court at Jammu,” he said.
