Police on Sunday claimed to have solved a murder case of 55-year-old GH Muhammad Dar who was killed during a scuffle between two families at Banyari village of northern Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
SDPO Sumbal said that soon after the murder of 55-year-old Gh Mohammad Dar, a special investigation team under the supervision of SSP Bandipora Sheikh Zulfkar Azad was constituted headed by SDPO Sumbal and DO Ajas Masood Ahamd to find the accused persons.
An FIR was lodged under section 148,302 and 447 RPC PS Sumbal and investigations were taken up.
The police official said that they have arrested three persons in the murder case. The accused has been identified as Gh Muhammad, S/O Abdul Rehman Dar, Tariq Ahmad son of Gh Mohammad and Fayaz Ahmad s/o Gh Mohammad all residents of Banyari.
