Srinagar: Authorities have decided to suspend class work in all Higher Secondary Schools and colleges in Kashmir valley on Saturday. However, primary, middle and high schools shall function normally. The district administrations of Shopian and Pulwama have decided to keep all educational institutions closed.
Sources said that class work in all higher secondary schools and colleges will remain suspended in Srinagar district tomorrow while as schools from primary to high level will function normally.
District administrations of Shopian and Pulwama have decided to close all the educational institutions in the two districts.
District administration Ganderbal has decided to close higher secondary school Kangan and all degree colleges of the district. Rest of the educational institutions will remain functional in the district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir University has also decided to suspended class work and postpone exams scheduled for Saturday.
Pertinently, students hit the streets on Thursday to protest the killings of 13 militants and four civilians in south Kashmir on April 1.
