Srinagar: Train service resumed on Thursday after remaining suspended for “security reasons” for four days in the Kashmir valley, where resistance leaders had called two day strike from Monday followed by “Shopian Chalo” to express solidarity with the families of those killed on Sunday.
13 militants and four civilians were killed in south Kashmir and another in Ganderbal in central valley, and over 150 others were injured in force’s action on demonstrators.
“Train service resumed after remaining suspended for security reasons in the Kashmir valley since Monday,’ a senior railway official told UNI this morning.
