‘Out of 81 schools, 18 attended the event’
KUPWARA: With only a few schools turning up for Science Exhibition organised by District Institute Educational Training (DIET) Kupwara, it turned the major event in failure.
ccording to reports, a science exhibition programme which was organized by DIET Kupwara turned a flop show after only 18 schools showed interest in visiting the exhibition among 81 schools who were asked to attend the event.
A participant who wished not to be named told Kashmir Reader that it turned a complete flop show which was held under the supervision of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kupwara and only a few schools participated in the exhibition.
Sources in DIET Kupwara said that institute is without a principal for 10 months and can be the cause of less participation of schools.
When Joint Director of North Kashmir School Education was asked about the issue, he said, “due to the busy schedule of schools, they were unable to send students for science exhibition. I will look into the matter.
It is pertinent to mention here that DIET Kupwara is without a Principal for 10 months and CEO Kupwara is holding an additional charge.
