Exams to be held from June 25
SRINAGAR: The University of Kashmir (KU) on Wednesday issued a modified exam pattern for combining the examinations of the 2015 undergraduate batch’s 5th and 6th semester students.
According to the officials, it will have enough external choice for students to compensate their loss.
The university has scheduled the combined exam for June 25 of this year.
“The students will be provided with two question papers and two answer scripts, that is one question paper for 5th semester and second question paper for 6th semester,” Public Relations Officer, KU said.
He added that students appearing for the exam have been given a time duration of one-and-half hours. The pattern of the question paper shall remain the same as in the previous year; however, the students will be provided with ample choice to account for their time loss.
A senior KU official added that the students would be given almost 15 days gap after the exam to prepare for entrance exam.
Students of different colleges were protesting against KU and demanding a 50 percent concession in their syllabus.
