‘Accountability to be maintained at every level’
SRINAGAR: Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G N Itoo on Monday stated that there will be no compromise on providing efficient education facilities to the students and the deviant officials in this regard shall be dealt with as per norms.
This he said after suspending headmasters of HS Chanapora and HS Atinaa of District Budgam.
Itoo also made a surprise inspection of Girls Model Higher Secondary School Bijbehara in district Anantnag. He was accompanied by Joint Director School Education (South) Dr Nasir Ahmad Lone and inspected many classrooms and took review of the teaching-learning process in the classes. He said that at the end of the month of March a list of the students with unsatisfactory attendance shall be published.
He also inspected the Herbal garden and the canteen facilities of the Institution.
DSEK said to facilitate the teaching learning process in the schools, completion of syllabus, conduct of practicals and cent percent attendance of the students should be made sure ‘at any cost’.
Referring to the suspension of two headmasters of District Budgam, DSEK said that monitoring teams at every level have been constituted throughout the Kashmir division.
