Civil society discusses dev of Pulwama

Pulwama: Civil Society Pulwama Monday held a meeting to discuss the development issues of the district and future course of action.
Chairman Ghulam Nabi Malik presided over the meeting here in the town and discussed strategy for redressal of development issues of Pulwama.
The Society also nominated its provisional executive body with Abdul Rahim Khan as patron-in-chief, Er Nazir Ahmad Dar as general secretary, Farooq Ahmad as Convener, Gazi Ahmad Pandit as legal advisor and other official members.
Members who spoke during the meeting said that Pulwama district is being neglected on development front by the government and people of the area need immediate redressal of issues from the district administration.
The participants opined that residents of Pulwama are facing difficulties in education, health and other public delivery systems.
The members also said that the maternity hospital announced by the government should be set up in the town and any attempt by the government to move it to any other place will be resisted.
The members also decided to raise the issue of every department with their concerned officers.
