DGP sanctions special reward of Rs 56,600 for police wards

JAMMU: Director General of Police S P Vaid sanctioned DGPs Special Reward with Commendation Certificate in favour of wards of serving police personnel who have secured above 80% marks in the annual examination of Class 10th/12th during the academic session 2016-17.
A total of Rs. 56,600 special reward has been sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare Fund for these students, a statement read.
Police headquarters has been sanctioning scholarships and rewards for wards of police personnel, killed and serving , under different schemes to boost their morale.
