Anantnag areas shut to mourn militant killings

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in some parts of the south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday to mourn the killings of two militants at the hands of government forces during a gunfight.
Reports of complete shutdown have reached from Dooru, Verinag and Larkipora areas of the district.
Earlier, two militants were killed in an overnight gunfight with forces in Shastargam village in Dooru area of Anantnag.
Reports of clashes between protesters and forces have reached from Dialgam village.
