SRINAGAR: Hundreds of Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen (KTeK) activists on Wednesday protested in Srinagar against the innocent civilian killings on LoC in cross-border shelling.
The protesters were carrying banners reading “stop innocent killing”, “Stop state terrorism and “No war but peaceful resolution to Kashmir dispute”.
Chairperson KTeK, Zamrooda, said, “There has been a rapid increase in the number of civilians killed on LoC. Dialogue is the only way to stop the innocent killing as the ceasefire violation between both the countries has become a norm”.
“Both India and Pakistan need to solve Kashmir issue peacefully,” she added.
She said that friendship between the two nations is only possible if Kashmir issue gets resolved.“Border killings can be stopped if both the countries start a dialogue process to solve the issue permanently,” she said.
