SRINAGAR: Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) President Sardar Masood Khan has lauded the resilience and courage of the citizens living along the Line of Control and said “we will not be intimated by India’s unprovoked firing and shelling”, Radio Pakistan reported on Saturday.
Masood made these remarks while addressing public gatherings during his visit to Samahni in Bhimbar. He paid rich tribute to the brave citizens, who had been killed and seriously wounded due to the “constant violations” by India
“India has adopted a dastardly approach in its attempt at intimidating the local population living near the LoC by targeting unarmed civilians, school children and educational institutions,” he said.
PaK President said government has allocated substantial funds for constructing bunkers to be used by the citizens in the areas most vulnerable to enemy fire. He said the construction of these bunkers will be started soon.
Sardar Masood Khan also thanked Pakistan’s Armed Forces for their untiring efforts in defending the people living along the LoC.
He assured that “the people and Government of Azad Kashmir stand shoulder to shoulder with their valiant soldiers in facing the enemy”.
