Aged woman dies of cardiac arrest during CASO in Pulwama village

Srinagar: A 70 year old lady died of cardiac arrest during Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) launched by government forces in Chakoora village of Pulwama district late Saturday evening.
Raja Begum W/O Abdul Samad Kumar felt unconscious amid clashes between government forces and protesters.
Local sources said that Raja after hearing sounds of tear gas shelling felt unconscious and she was rushed to Bijbehara hospital were doctors declared her brought dead.
According to hospital sources the lady had died of cardiac arrest.
SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudhary also said that the lady had died of cardiac arrest.
Earlier, government forces launched CASO in Chakoora after input about the presence of militants triggering clashes.
